ABOUT GIVLO
One founder.
One mission.
Built in London.
Givlo is built by Will. The idea came from a simple observation — that children grow into the financial habits they’re given, and that no existing product was teaching giving as a habit alongside saving and spending.
THE MISSION
A generation that gives by default.
The UK public donated an estimated £14 billion to charity in 2025 — but giving participation has been falling. Among 16–24-year-olds, the share who gave or sponsored a charity dropped from 52% in 2019 to 36% in 2024, the steepest decline of any age group. The pattern in the research is consistent: giving habits are largely shaped in childhood, and those who don’t develop one early are less likely to develop one at all.
The financial-services industry has built tools for spending (debit cards for children), for saving (junior ISAs), and for investing (junior brokerage accounts). Almost nobody has built one for giving.
Givlo is the product that does. A household subscription that gives every child a small monthly giving budget, a curated charity directory to choose from, parental oversight on every donation, and real impact stories coming back from the charities they support.

HOW IT’S BUILT
Built so the money is never ours.
The architecture keeps children’s funds out of Givlo’s custody at all times — approved donations move directly from the household payment method to the receiving charity.
Givlo Ltd is in active engagement with HMRC for Gift Aid intermediary status, allowing the platform to claim Gift Aid on eligible donations on behalf of donors and pass it through to charities.
The platform is built using modern AI-assisted development tooling, which lets a small team move at the velocity of a much larger one without compromising on code quality, security review, or testing discipline. Every line of code that handles funds, personal data, or child interactions is reviewed against UK financial conduct, safeguarding, and data protection requirements.
The result is a product built faster, tested more rigorously, and designed more carefully than most early-stage consumer products. Not because the team is large — because the tooling is good and the discipline is high.
WHO BUILDS THIS
Founded by Will.
Will founded Givlo in 2026 after spending two years researching the gap between how children learn about money and how they learn about giving. He is the sole non-technical founder and runs every aspect of the business — product, engineering oversight, charity partnerships, regulatory work, and design.
Givlo Ltd is registered in England. The company is pre-seed funded by the founder and is in early conversations with UK investors.
Will lives in London. He can be reached via the contact page.
Help us build this.
We’re looking for households willing to use Givlo in early beta, and for UK charities interested in being part of the directory. Both routes start with a conversation.
